Christian is passionate about startups, talent management, people operations, and organisational design.
KOKILA ALAGH
Kokila Alagh is the Founder of KARM Legal Consultants and has 15 years of experience as a Corporate/Commercial and technology lawyer in UAE. She has a significant experience in investments, incorporations, joint ventures, project finance & private equity transactions. She has actively advised on acquisition finance, project finance transaction, corporate restructuring, real estate finance and asset finance transactions. At KARM, she has provided legal advice to clients providing highly specialized technology offering including MedTech and InsureTech focused entities..
Mohammed Mahfoudh
Mohammed Mahfoudh has extensive experience in the startup and entrepreneurial community development. During his career, Mohammed had established and managed multiple companies, as well as provided mentoring, advisory, and investments to a wide variety of startups.
Mohammed worked on multiple countries, with a high focus on the European startup landscape, where he provided consultancy and mentoring to companies for fundraising, commercialization of technologies, expansions, and exits.
His activities cover wide range of industries from Technology to Healthcare/biotech, along with an aviation and manufacturing. Currently, he is focusing, through his new venture, Deca4 Advisory, on providing advisory and consultancy to companies on the Security Tokens and Digital Securities implementation, enabling them to raise money using the blockchain.
Saeed Hareb Al Darmaki
Saeed is Managing Director of Alphabit Digital Currency Fund and Chairman of eGovern blockchain consultancy company. He was also previously Managing Director at Binary Financial. He sits on boards of entities such as DEX, LEAD Ventures, RealEx, MENA Fintech Association, BeMobi, Jahani & Associates and Kenzi Wealth. These roles have given him tremendous insight into the crypto/blockchain space and enabled him to develop a key network of contacts which has helped him grow his knowledge of the market exponentially. Saeed started his career at ADIA in October 2009 as an Operations specialist then from May 2013 became a Fixed Income & Treasury specialist. In June 2018 he decided to leave ADIA to focus on the crypto/blockchain industry.
James Bernard
In 2009 James became Director of Business Development for DMCC and now leads the business development unit for its Free Zone in Dubai. James has worked for several global trading and investment companies providing him with over 20 years of extensive financial and physical trading experience and industry knowledge. Prior to joining DMCC in 2006, James was Chief Executive of Bartizan International Trading and Managing Director of Wonder International Mg-Shanxi Jinrun where he was also head of global trading, and risk management. James studied at the University of Westminster in London.
Juergen Hoebarth
Juergen started to get involved early with cryptocurrencies back in 2014. He is a speaker and strategist who thinks ahead in terms of what will come next and how it affects our society and businesses. Today, he is managing director of Tokenization Limited – the world’s premier business development and strategy consultancy for tokenization.
